ABOUT OUR ESMERALDA GOWNS

Our sumptuous underbust ESMERALDA GOWNS are elegant, feminine and figure-flattering. A frilled neckline with adjustable lacing detail curves down to a corset bodice, and draped layers of silk silhouette the hips.

Beautifully designed, they are individually crafted from brocades and antique silks in jewel colours. Adjustable lacing ensures they fit all figures from slim and slender to curvy and voluptuous.

Pure theatre, they are perfect for Tribal Belly Dancers, Steam Punkers, Cosplayers and Festival Fans!

MATERIALS:

Our ESMERALDA GOWNS are fashioned from Antique Silk and Brocade and embellished with fine gold, silver and copper threads. The quilted bodice is finished with black faux-leather trim and brass eyelets, and laces up with cotton ties.

Our gorgeous antique fabric is up-cycled from silk that once adorned an Indian bride on her wedding day, so on occasion the silk may have small signs of wear that show the beauty of its age. (We photograph anything we notice.)

Each piece is completely unique. We send all our items in sustainable eco packaging.

Roberta and her team in Rajasthan. We work in happy and healthy conditions and share much laughter! The final touches are completed at the Barocco workshop in Burntisland, Scotland.
