Huggin and Munin are the two Ravens that accompany the God Odin. The two ravens sit on Odin's shoulders and whisper information that they hear and see into his ear; they are called Huggin (Thought) and Munnin (Mind/Memory). Odin sends his ravens out in the morning to fly around the world, collect information and then fly back to him. They are cautious and crafty. Odin is sometimes called the Raven God because of these constant companions. In this woodcut style Wall Plaque, Huggin and manning sit together in a outlet forest amongst beautiful blooms, listening to the nearby chatter of the Noble Family. When they have gleaned all they can they fly back to Odin with the information.
This plaque is laser etched on acrylic and then hand inked and painted and sealed.
