This is a reproduction of a papercut ship motif from an 18th century Ottoman Album currently in the archives of the French National Library. The original is cut from terracotta coloured paper but I opted for a deep sea green to emphasize the nautical nature of the motif.
The motif is hand cut out of acrylic painted paper. It comes in a gold coloured steel frame, mounted between two transparent acrylic sheets. The frame can be used hanging on the wall (a removable metal chain is provided) or standing upright (the stand is also removable).
