outlet I make these stoneware bowls with my hands, throwing them on the potter's wheel using local clays. I make all my own glazes and they are completely food safe.

The stoneware items that I make are very sturdy. They can be used as baking dishes, and they are oven and dishwasher safe. The glazes 'fit' the clay. They can be used in a conventional oven as baking dishes, dishwasher safe too. I don't recommend using them in microwaves. They are very chip resistant and with minimal care, will last you a lifetime.

The color: Merlot & Olive is characterized by rich reddish browns with purple undertones. It has a gloss finish.
