Vintage Pink Italian Tole Roses Pedestal Compote Bowl Hollywood Regency Centerpiece This is a heavily patterned pressed glass centerpiece bowl with an Italian tole rose pedestal base. The "Made in Italy" tag is shown in the picture. Measures approximately 8-1/2” wide across the bowl x 10-1/4” high x 7” across the base. The painted pink roses and green leaves are a little chippy and there is a flaw/defect on the inside of the glass bowl ~ see close up pictures. At first glance I thought it was a chip, but upon closer inspection with a loupe, it looks more like excess glass with some tiny carbon flecks in it and appears to be a manufacturing flaw. Because of the bowl's busy allover pattern, it isn't noticeable, but please see the close up pictures to determine the condition for yourself. There are also the typical small air bubbles and straw marks in the glass. This is outlet a beautiful unique vintage piece that is perfect for spring and summer decor.
