Originally painted somewhere between 1903-1907, this famous portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer, which had been painted in oil & gold leaf. The painting itself has an extremely long history, including theft by the Nazi's, an amazing auction sale & the original now resides in New York, & even inspired a movie! This reprint is in very good condition--nearly new apart from the tear in the backing which you will find in the photos. Both the glass & the plastic frame are in excellent condition; no breaks, cracks, chips or outlet crazing. The black matte remains just as it was on the day it was framed.
