Decorative handmade bowl made from the Madrone Burl Tree, also known as Strawberry Tree, a naturally red hardwood native to the Mediterranean region.
The rim is embellished with a technique of first carving, then lightly burning the wood (Shou Sugi Ban) to give a black color without the use of stains, that is still stable.

Safe for food use, it has been finished with several coats of food grade butcher block oil. outlet
