Original Watercolor outlet Painting with Embroidery: "Venus's Flower Basket"

outlet "Venus's Flower Basket" is an abstract watercolor painting that is part of my series on bioluminescence and deep sea life. This particular painting is based on the sponge that lives in the deep sea, by the same name. When I saw this sponge, the holes looked like glowing eyes, and I knew I wanted to make an abstract painting based off of it.

Watercolor and thread on cold-pressed, heavyweight watercolor paper.
