Victorian Pearlized Iridescent Wash Bowl Pitcher, British Reg No 235970, Dated 1894,Hand Painted Gold Handle,1800’s Pitcher,Repurposed outlet Vase
A beautiful Victorian wash bowl pitcher with a pearlized iridescent glaze and hand painted gold handle. A lovely simple but elegant shape. This pitcher is marked with the British Registration Number on the bottom of Rd 235970 which dates it to 1894. This pitcher could be repurposed as a vase and would be a lovely addition to home decor!
Condition: This pitcher is in quite good condition considering its age. There is some light crazing on the exterior and interior but barely noticeable (see photos). The handle has a scratch in the gold at the top - this is not a crack in the handle. There is also a small darker spot on the exterior glaze - it is a mark made during production which looks like a speck of glaze adhered to the exterior glaze. Please review all photos as they are part of the description.
Measurements: Height - 12”, Width (at bulbous section) - 8 1/2”, Width (includes handle) - 9 3/4”
