Vintage Desperate Dan Fabric Curtains - Dandy Comic Cotton - Cartoon Characters - outlet 1980's Fabric - Vintage Child's Room

A pair of original 1980's Dandy comic curtains featuring Desperate Dan and a Cow Pie, Korky the Cat, Bully Beef and others. These are the original style character drawings, created before the comic was modernised. The Dandy characters appear on a white background and measure between 12cm and 23cm in size. This is 100% cotton.

This is a DC Thomson print from 1988, and these two cotton panels were sold as ready-made curtains. The condition of both pieces is pristine and I don't think they have ever been used. There are two curtain pieces. One still retains a 5cm turned up hem and neat finishing to the sides, the other has been unpicked but could easily be re-stitched using the original folds. Both need some header tape and they are ready to hang.

As they are currently one piece measures 170cm wide x 178cm long and the other is 180cm wide x 185cm long.

Obviously there is outlet loads of fabric here and Desperate Dan and friends are well spaced, so you could use this cotton in a patchwork project if you like or it would make great cushions, bags, aprons etc, it's also perfect for upholstery.
