outlet Who says mice aren't cute? Come and meet Annalise and you'll want to say, "Aw, she's cute!" Annalise is very young; a "toddler" in mouse time. Annelise is the newest mouse in the land of Felt so she's been getting lots of attention from the other animals in Felt who love to befriend the newcomer. A first Annalise was a bit overwhelmed and being shy, she could only stare quietly at everyone with her large dark eyes, but she's very quickly adapting to being the center of attention and she's loving all of her new friends. Recently a few of her new friends went to the circus and she squeaked with excitement when she saw the beautiful orange and white swirled balloon they brought back for her They tied it around her wrist with a yellow ribbon to match her yellow romper and she takes it, along with her blankie, wherever she goes.

Annalise is internally wired so she may either stand or sit, whichever position you prefer to pose her in. Sitting, she measures approximately 4" tall and standing, she's about 4 3/4". Her tail is also posable and helps support her to stand and sit on her own. Her head is threaded to her body so she can turn it from side to side. Annalise has been needle felted from 100% wool fiber. Her eyes are small glass beads and her romper is hand sewn from felt that I've hand embroidered with white daisies. She has two pockets on her romper, one in front and one in back above her tail. The pockets too have hand embroidered daisies on them. I've trimmed the legs of her romper in white eyelet ruffle and tied a tuft of her hair with a yellow ribbon to match her romper.

Annalise carries her treasured balloon which is also needle felted from wool, tied to her wrist with a yellow ribbon. Tucked under her other arm, is the little mohair blanket that I hand knit for her. Every baby loves their blanket- even little mouse babies! Annalise brings hers with her everywhere..

Annalise is OOAK (one of a kind,) and definitely unique. She is not intended to be a child's toy and is much too fragile to be played with. She does however make a wonderful collectible and adds to the decor of any room. If placed out of reach on a shelf in a child's room, she is a wonderful way to encourage a child's imagination, getting them to think about what her story might be- or an entire shelf of little critters who could all be part of an ongoing story. Children are great story tellers and would definitely have fun thinking of stories to go with their own unique critters.
