❤️ TYPES OF VEILS:
1. Blusher Veil
A blusher veil simply refers to any sheer veil that fastens to the crown of the head and covers the entire face of the bride. During the ceremony, it's pulled back to reveal the bride, which makes for an exciting and moving moment—the first time the groom sees his bride's face. This is the type of veil that is used in more traditional ceremonies. Blushers can be the chin, shoulder, or waist length and they often accompany another veil.
2. Elbow Length Veil
The elbow-length veil is a style of veil that's usually worn high on the crown of the head and hits at or near the bride's elbows. If you want a more conservative look for your ceremony, an elbow-length veil is an elegant way to cover up without wearing outlet a bulky bolero or shrug. It's also ideal for those who don't want to fuss over a long trailing style since, needless to say, there's never any worry that an elbow-length veil will get stepped on or otherwise become cumbersome when the bride walks down the aisle.
3. Fingertip Length Veil
It is a veil that hits roughly near where the bride's fingertips reach when her arms are at her sides (i.e., just above or below the hip). This style is a nice compromise between a shorter elbow-length veil and a dramatic floor-length number, and it works well for casual and formal weddings alike. It's also a fairly neutral style that can be paired with nearly any type of dress or hairdo. It allows any design on the back of a bride's gown to be seen through sheer fabric.
4. Knee Length Veil
Designed to fall to your knee, this wedding veil length offers drama and elegance without weighing you down. The veil can be adjusted to fall a little longer or a little shorter to fall just at your knee, depending on your height.
5. Waltz Wedding Veil
There's no rule that says you need to take off your veil for the reception. But if you do choose to keep it on, make sure it won't get in the way of dancing and mingling. "A waltz veil falls to the mid-calf and is a great option for those who want to wear a longer veil for the reception, but still want the freedom to move throughout the evening. This wedding veil style is also called a ballet veil.
6. Floor-Length Wedding Veil
A floor-length veil just grazes the floor and matches the length of the bride's gown. The flowing fabric will add extra volume to your look, perfect for a bride who was torn between a ball gown and a more streamlined silhouette.
7. Chapel Length Veil
For more traditional brides, the chapel veil—a floor-length veil that extends a couple of inches beyond the hem of the wedding dress—is a go-to option. This choice is best suited for formal weddings, but it will add extra elegance and drama to most any full-length gown, be it A-line or sheath, and can be found in ornate (i.e., embellished) and minimalist raw hem styles alike. A chapel-length veil will create the illusion of a train, without any pesky bustling required. A chapel-length veil sweeps across the floor extending slightly beyond the bride's gown.
8. Cathedral Length Veil
For a real fairytale wedding no style beats the cathedral veil, which trails one to two feet behind the bride's dress and is by far the longest type of veil out there. For the most regal entrance, you must have a cathedral-length veil. A cathedral-length veil extends beyond the train of the bride's gown and is the most dramatic down-the-aisle length
9. Mantilla
This distinctive type of veil hails from Spain and consists of a single layer of fabric, typically trimmed with lace, that is attached just a few inches back from the hairline and worn flat over the head, such that it drapes over both shoulders. Mantillas are a part of the country's Catholic tradition and were worn not only by brides but by all women when attending mass. In the context of a wedding, a mantilla veil might be chosen by a bride who is concerned with modesty (i.e., no bare shoulders) for religious or personal reasons.
10. Single-tier wedding veil
Single tier means that the veil flows from its attachment point (normally a comb) down the back. There is no blusher, section of the veil in front of the face. These can have a full gathering or no gathering at all like our 'barely their veils'.
11. Two-tier wedding veil
It means that the veil includes a 'blusher' that can be pulled forward over the face. This is raised during the ceremony for the first kiss or at the exact moment you are married and is then swept back over the head to form a second layer at the back of the veil.
