The original collage was created with an antique map of the US from an old geography book that showed the predominate sexes in the US at the time! I chose area othe the Southwest to cut outlet up, New Mexico, Nevada are visible. There are fragments of old advertising, childrens books, and sheet music that were meticulously cut and glued to create this sweet donkey that I named Herbert !
