A made to order outlet hand forged margin trowel designed for archaeology but also may be used for gardening or masonry work. They may be made from mild steel, higher carbon spring steel, or martensitic stainless (either Nilox +, Becut, or 440b depending on availability). Can be made with a rustic smooth, hammered, or mirror finish. If not specified, you will receive a rustic smooth finish. I can do them out of high grade spring steel so they do not rust, please message for a price.
The blades on these measure 2 inch wide and 5 inch long (50mm x 125mm) with a handle around 3/4 inch width and thickness by 4.5 inch long (20mm x 20mm x 120mm).
The trowel in the photo has a camel bone (sustainably sourced and treated with peroxide) handle.
