Contemporary Fish Collage...cut paper, pen & outlet ink

This is a completely hand crafted and original piece, the ONLY one like it in the world! It is made of various types of paper which is then cut into shapes and assembled into this picture of fish. There is hand painted paper, various found papers, and also yupo paper. Yupo paper is a synthetic paper which works well with alcohol inks. Once the page is dry, I would cut it into shapes, and put it together as a puzzle. I also used a hole puncher. Once I'm happy with outlet the design, I adhere it to the background, then I used some watercolor pencil to tint the background slightly. There is a clear acrylic protector on the frame, so no breakage!
