Unique Oxidised and outlet Hammered Sterling Silver Bangle, hallmarked and handcrafted by All That Glitters

This hammered and oxidised silver bangle is handmade from solid silver. I've used a hammer to add the gorgeous, organic texture and then oxidised the silver to complete the rustic, rough and raw finish.
Great for layering or stacking or just on it's own for a more minimalist look. The darkness of the silver is contrasted by thhe parts that I have buffed to give the silver a brighter look.

This piece is handcrafted in the UK. I use heat and texture to create unique and unusual 'one off' pieces of sterling silver jewellery that you won't find anywhere else.

It measures 5mm in width, with a 6cm diameter. It has been hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office.

My Inspiration.......
I love the texture and shapes found in nature, which is why I use them to inspire my jewellery designs; from pebble beaches to bark on a tree and the textures found in weathered stone. I was always coming home from family holidays with buckets of shells and pebbles. outlet I still do today to be honest. I decorate my workshop with them so that I'm surrounded by inspiration.
I also love the nature of silver, especially when I'm melting pieces together and using reticulation to create wonderful organic textures, you can never fully predict what the finished piece will look like, which is quite exciting and a very interesting process. My statement designs form in a very fluid way, I rarely plan them out before hand, they evolve as they are made which is what I love about working with silver, it's so versatile and easy to work with.
I use reticulation and oxidisation to give the silver a lovely texture and to make each piece different from the next.
All pieces are hallmarked by the Birmingham assay office where necessary and according to the regulations so you can be confident it's genuine silver.
