This pair of Bristol glass vanity bottles are hand painted and made about 1870. This pair would have graced a lady's dressing table or vanity and held perfume, cologne, or other lotions. They are delicately hand painted with pink roses around the body of the bottle. There are 3 roses to each panel. Above the decorated panel is a beige bisque finish to the bottles. The stoppers have the same finish. There is gold edging to the top and bottom of each bottle but it has been worn away in some areas. That should be expected from an antique that is 150+ years . The fourth photo shows the pontil marks as the bottles were hand blown into a mold. Both pieces are free of any damage or chips but there is wear. They measure 8.5 inches outlet to the top of the stopper. The price listed is for the pair.
