Vintage Folio by artist and sculptor Corrado Cagli Trenta Disegni (30 Drawings) published in Italy (in Italian of course) with hardboard cover with taped cellophane wrap and loose black and white numbered drawing prints approx. 11 x 14" each. Has table of contents with drawing titles. Cagli (1910-1976) was Italian Jew and fled his home in Italy to U.S. when Mussolini came into power late 1930s. He enlisted in U.S. Army and landed at Normandy France fighting his way to Germany and drawing along the way where ending up at Buchenwald Concentration Camp where several outlet of the drawings within the portfolio were completed. They are very true to life and do not mask the atrocities he encountered. A few drawings at beginning of folio are from time in U.S. Condition is good the folio has some warping and tanning with age with small tears in cellophane wrap.
