Pagota Top Slip Carved Bamboo Urn
4" tall 4 1/4" wide.

This sweet little urn will hold about 30 lbs. of live weight ashes.
It is perfect as a memory urn for a small portion of family shared ashes or for the remains of a special fury friend.

I threw this piece on the wheel with Grolleg porcelain, trimmed it and painted a colored slip on it. I then carved a bamboo branch
through the slip and finished it with a clear high fired glaze.

Wooden bases, black or mahogany are sold in variations for $18.
The lid can be temporarily sealed with museum wax or permanently sealed outlet with an epoxy glue.
