Vintage Studio Pottery, New Zealand Maori outlet Raku Lava Glaze Pot, Black Brown Glazed Vase

Striking vintage studio pottery vase, made in New Zealand by a Maori potter in the 1990s. This small raku pot is rounded with a thinner neck and rolled over lip, all covered in a rich lava style glaze in black, brown, and gray. It has a rough texture, with holes and dents in the glaze like a cooled volcanic surface. It is unsigned and in very good condition.

Size: 5 inches tall x 5.75 inches across
