10 Silverplate hors doeuvres outlet or bread plates. Plates are 6 diameter, each marked on the back W & S Blackinton Fine Silver Plate since 1865". Good vintage condition with normal small scratches, etc, commensurate with age. W & S Blackinton were a silverware manufacturer in Meriden, CT. Their slogan "Fine Silver Plate since 1865" is a little misleading as they only started producing silver plate in the 1930s when they were taken over by the Ellmore Silver Co. Before that they were a maker of gold jewelry. So your piece probably dates to the 1940s - 1950s. LROB.
