A beautiful George Adams sterling silver 7 1/8 inch done in the kings royal husk pattern. George Adams worked with his mother in law Mary Chawner the famous Silversmith in London in the 19th century. The beauty of this spoon can be seen along the handle from the top of the finial to the bottom back of spoon which has a husk pattern. This gorgeous spoon is hallmarked on the back, with an 1850 date letter P . This beautifully made spoon in the Kings Royal Husk pattern is in good condition with scratches and marks from age, and weights 66 grams. Unfortunately these beautiful testaments to skill & quality are being melted down for the silver value and are becoming harder to find.
