These two were on the market long before the Reborn frenzy (1980s). They were actually used in nurse labor and delivery training. They are not posable and do not have the flexibility of more modern dolls, so they aren't for play. They are anatomically correct, show a "just cut" umbilical cord (see photo), and are preemie weight (less than 5 lb each). Both dolls have mainly been in storage. The paint on the top of the little girl's head has always been delicate (the wrong kind of paint or not properly sealed), so it needs to be repainted by a skilled artist. I think the little girl's name is Sara, and outlet the boy's name might be Jonathan? Both dolls belonged to my mother. Price is for both.
