A beautiful hand painted and signed original oil on canvas of a little girl snuggling with her cat. I love the style of this piece! The artist's signature is in the bottom left corner. I believe it says Cate, but I can't be sure. My research didn't find any information on this artist. The beautiful painting is framed in a lovely wooden frame that is painted gold on the inside and outside edges. Between the edges, it's painted a beautiful teal color.
This outlet painting is in excellent vintage condition. There are a few spots on the frame where the gold paint is missing. The top left edge of the frame has a small sliver of missing wood. The top left edge of the painting is exposed underneath the edge of the frame. The painting may be able to be repositioned in the frame, but I will leave that to the buyer. Both issues can be seen in photo 7. Please see all photos for confirmation of condition.
