1940s Natural Straw Platter Sun Hat with Green Velvet Ribbon - 40s Straw Sun Hat - 40s Platter Hat - 40s Cartwheel Hat - 40s Halo Hat

Professional construction with no design or manufacture label present. The hat is fashioned from a gorgeous outlet natural straw, intricately woven and beautifully preserved. The hat features a wide, blocked brim and a low profile round crown with a rich green velvet trim. The intended fit is as shown, at the back top crown of the head, worn forward to shade the face or back to frame it. The original elastic security strap is still intact and can be worn around the back of the head or under the hair to help secure the hat in place.

Condition is listed as very good plus with only a few minor surface imperfections noted to the top of the straw. Structure is flawless with all original, unique blocking retained and the green velvet ribbon presents beautifully.
