Batik Quilt, Small Quilted Batik Wall Art, outlet Hand Stitched Wall Hanging

Batik quilt / fiber wall designed using the Combanasi batik from Indonesia. The small quilt is 16 by 17 inches, and has been embellished with hand stitching using hand painted threads and ribbons.

The batik fabric is a black geometric design with butterflies on a yellow, green and orange background. The design has been silk screened onto the cotton batik background. The threads used for the hand stitching were selected to highlight the colors. Borders and binding are in complementary batiks. I have added a sleeve on the back which can be used for hanging with a decorative rod or dowel.

The overall size is is 17 inches high outlet by 16 inches wide.
