Sweet Mini Top Hat Fascinator - Pale Pink with Gold Satin outlet Ribbon and Sunny Yellow Flower

I made this pink mini top hat fascinator -- including its base -- using millinery (hat making) techniques. I covered it in a textured pale pink fabric that has metallic gold woven throughout, giving it a subtle something extra in right light. I pleated and sewed on the gold satin ribbon to compliment that subtle gold in the fabric. The gold hat band ribbon ends in a large bow on the back with the tails hanging down. And outlet it's topped off with a sunny yellow and orange flower, sewn on so that it rests on the hat's brim. The top of the hat gently flares out and the brim will hold its curved shape thanks to the millinery wire inside of it. Overall, this hat has a soft, sweet look to it.

Free 1" satin headband included -- available in 3 colors: Black, Brown, and Tan. See last photo. Please let me know which color you want.

Hat can be worn using a 1" satin headband (included) or with combs and/or clips that can be slipped through the two elastic tabs sewn onto the bottom of the hat. Hat looks best when worn perched at a jaunty angle.

Care: Very gently spot clean as needed. Do not over-saturate -- as that may affect the shape of the area.

This hat's base is made of buckram (a stiffened cotton fabric used often in hat-making) supported in key areas with millinery wire. You should avoid soaking the hat, as that may cause it's buckram base to lose it's shape. Buckram softens when wet enough and stiffens as it dries. Steam and gentle pressure with a damp cloth may be used to fix stubborn dents and creases.
