Blue-white kidush outlet cup with coaster, handmade porcelain

Flower-shaped porcelain goblet for Shabbat. The design is inspired by plants. Porcelain material kind of softens during the fireing, and this kind of sculpting the form helps a lot to keep its shape: the ribs are strengthening the form.
Slipcasted of porcelain outlet material, fired to 1235 Celsius.
I decorated this piece with underglaze handpainting, with cobalt blue slip, and contoured it with 12% overglaze gold chinapaint.
The coaster is also made in the same way: slipcasted and handpainted.
