Inspired by my love for folk art, I create handmade ceramics that echo the rustic, eccentric expression - each with a personality of its own. Every one-of-a-kind piece starts with a simple idea, be it a sketch or a quotation, which I use to inspire the shape of the clay. I then glaze the pottery by hand and fire it in an electric kiln. The intricate patterns result from imprints of antique wooden stamps or and other handmade objects.
