2001 Fleer/Skybox "Pigskin Prospects". Perfectly carved, football shaped die cut that has a dimpled ball surface. Also has a jersey patch from his Purdue days. Very limited print and mint condition. Now that he's officially retired, his cards are gonna jump. He'll always be near the top of all passing statistics. 1st Ballot HOF for sure. And I'm not sold on this guy being retired just yet. Word around the campfire is that he's been throwing the ball, showing up at OTA's, and actually watching game film. I seriously see this guy being like Brett Favre. He's still got too much fire in his belly. And when you're dealing with a man like Brees, who is already a legend, there's always room for another chapter in the book. He's keeping himself GAME READY. And that doesn't sound retired to outlet me. Don't be shocked if the Saints get off to a rough start.
