This wonderful roast on a platter with a carving fork was made out of celluloid by outlet the company Viscoloid. It has the "V Co U.S.A." mark as you can see in picture #9. This platter has the roast with 2 slices. There is the carving fork and greens on the side. This platter of dollhouse food is 3-1/2" long x 1" tall x 2" wide. It is in the 1-1/2" scale. The Viscoloid dollhouse food is hard to find. It is from the 1930s.
This molded dollhouse foot was played with through the years. I believe there is a dent in the top but it is hard to determine if it is a dent or was made this way. there are not cracks or holes at this spot. There are a couple of marks on the natural colored background. Please see my pictures. The price reflects the dent - if it is - in the top.
