The coaster features a white background with a Pheasant in flight with his wing feathers in the air and long tail feathers pointing down. The coaster is in excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Please see the photos as they are an important part of the description.

A little about Dennis Puleston:

Dennis Puleston, December 30, 1905-June 8, 2001, was a British born American environmentalist, adventurer and designer. He is perhaps best known for playing a key part in securing a nationwide ban in the United States on the use of the pesticide DDT, a decision regarded as the first important success of the emerging environmental movement. In the early 1960s Puleston was credited with saving the Osprey population when he discovered that the use of DDT was weakening the shells of the birds' eggs so much that they were unable to protect the live chicks inside. He founded the Environmental Defense Fund and was its Chairman into the early the 1970s
