Will my item be clean and ready to wear?
Items that can be washed are cleaned prior to being photographed according to care instructions (unless otherwise specified), but may pick up odors from being stored despite efforts to prevent this (think having to rewash some seasonal items when you take them out again, despite having washed them before storing them). I store many of my items with cedar blocks to help with freshness and deter moths, especially for those comprised of wool. Please note that wool (especially if it isn't heavily processed) tends to retain the smell of lanolin, a wax secreted by wool-bearing animals that serves as a protective barrier to the wool.
