Antique Wire Open Fire outlet Toaster

Seen here is one antique wire open fire toaster circa the late 19th to early 20th century. The toaster consists of two steel wires, bent into a Maltese cross held by a wooden outlet handle. The two wires are set to angle away from each other and a steel ring around the stem slides from the base to the clasp allowing tension adjustment. This manual beauty is in excellent antique condition. It features a lovely patina on the wire and handle and everything works just as it should. This rustic piece would make an excellent addition to any camping kit or back yard fire pit.
