A 1920's era Muncie art pottery table lamp with the original hardware and bulb.
This lamp is glazed with the frothy green glaze on the top that flows down over a rich lilac or rose color glaze. This urn style lamp is referenced as shape U71 in the Muncie Pottery book.
The vintage Aladdin lamp hardware is all original and has the dark bronze finish and part of the original Aladdin label visible. The bulb appears to be original outlet. The pottery base measures 9" tall and the top width is 6" wide. Total height is 18". No finial.
The condition is excellent with no nicks, chips or cracks. Some glaze residue is seen on the underside which is typical with Muncie pottery pieces.
We note the light socket portion needs tightened from below. The cord appears to have been updated. This arts and crafts style lamp would compliment any bungalow interior rather nicely.
