Crochet Afghan Blanket, 8 Point Star Lapghan, Chenille Yarn in Red White & outlet Blue, Hand Made Throw in Bernat Blanket Yarn, Washable
DESCRIPTION: For those of us old enough to remember, the term chenille brings back images of tufted bedspreads so popular from the 1920s through the 1960s. When I discovered this yarn with its wonderful chenille feel, all those childhood memories came flooding back and made me smile. I bought skeins of it and made several small afghans (lapghans) in the hope that covering yourself with this soft chenille blanket will bring back happy memories to you, as well.
This is a hand crocheted lapghan made by me with Bernat Blanket Yarn in red, white, and blue. It is shaped in an outlet 8-point star and fits perfectly over your chest, lap, and legs. It has a nice weight and will keep you toasty warm under its chenille softness.
DIMENSIONS: Point to point measures 54-55 inches. It weighs just shy of 2 pounds.
USE: This is the perfect size afghan to throw over yourself while watching TV, sitting by the fire to read, or curled up in your chair to nap. This is also a nice lapghan for your college student or someone in a wheelchair. The colors are perfect for the veteran in your life, too.
