Saphira is one of the most sought-after, hard to find brand in vintage optical, mostly because of their beautiful and consistent detail to feminine detail in women's eyewear. These elegant clear goldenrod and grey frames are retro-perfection and in deadstock condition.

Material: Acetate Frames, Demo Lenses (which require replacement) 
Condition: NEW OLD STOCK condition – these glasses have never been worn or lensed previously and are in stunning condition for their age. This being said, they have sat in storage for nearly 50 years and do have some signs of age: some exceedingly light scuffing, all of which can be buffed and some mild warping, all of which can be fixed with heat-treatment. These are signs of age and authenticity. Their hinges are tight and well-aligned and their color is vibrant. 

Due to this period of storage, they show signs of natural warping, all of which can be reversed with heat treatment when they are lensed. All of our glasses are guaranteed “optical ready” which means they are ready to have your own eyeglass or sunglass lenses fitted by a professional optician!

With all of our glasses if these are for personal use we recommend replacing the lenses with your own prescription at your local opticians. All glasses “settle” to their owner's face, so we always recommend to our vintage eyeglass customers to have a professional optician help adjust the glasses in minor ways to suit their particular construction.
