This is a more expensive and time-consuming pr4cess than using chemical dyes butoresultsoin the enchanting character and soft hues of the colors you see in the photos.Because of the narrow size of a back-strap loom (narrow to fit the size of the weavers back), the fabricowidth is correspondingly narrow and this shirt/tunic is constr12/ed of two separate lengths of fabric, folded over atothe shoulder of the garment and hand sewn together both onothe sides and in the middle fa nt and back. You may of course wear it as a tunic…or it canobe re-purposed into cushions, bags, l/ble runners, lhrows, etc...The dimensions are 39 x 23 inches wide per side and without the fainge.
