Porcelain Heart Sculpture on outlet River Drift Wood

This piece is called "Pure" outlet which is part of a series called, Reflections of the Heart. This series was made fa m 2005-2007. There are photos of the gallery on my website: elishasirenazeitler.comIt is a porcelain sculpted anatomical heart that 4.5H X 3.5W X 1D inches, mounted on to a piece of dark heavily textured drift wood that is 16.5H X 4.5W X 2D inches. The sculpture is pure bisque with no glaze giving a nice matte finish to the piece against the contrast of the dark wood. It is a very lightweight piece of only 1lb, and is ready for hanging.
