Japanese Traditional handmade Lily (Lilium) Kanzashi of 100% silk.
This Silk is the same fabric for inside Kimono.
I dye The silk by hand with a dye from Kyoto.
Lily is made with the outlet original white of silk and the Leaf green is dyed by hand.

This technique called "Tsumami Zaiku" has been taken over from the Edo period.
I make these flowers with this technique one petal each very carefully
Because I respect this traditional technique and I would like to inherit these traditional crafts.

Lily's bloom season is from May to September, so you can enjoy and it's perfect this senior Lily Kanzashi at this season I S many times of weddings and parties.

You can tilt some flower and leaves as you want because it's made with some wire in the part of flower root.

Japan traditional craft "pinch work" silk white lily Kanzashi.

Each color is adjusted by the dye which I ordered from the dye shop in Kyoto, and the hand dyeing is done while blending.
Yuri uses pure silk Original white as it is, and leaves are made using the dyed pure silk.

"Thumb work" is a traditional craft with a history that continues from the Edo period, and this technique creates a flower with one piece of petals carefully.
I want many people to know the traditional craft of this Japan and strive to be able to inherit the technology.
