Outlet Incredible 1940s Wedge Gold Brocade Sandals Shoes UK 6.5

Beautiful 1940s evening sandals in pale rose strewn brocade and gold kid.
Open sides, a peep toe and ankle strap over a flat wedge. Leather lining and sole.
the label is By Gala.

These sandals have been much loved and show some signs of wear. The brocade has frayed in a few places
and the leather over the wedge has wrinkled a little. Also some of the diamonds out of the buckles are missing.
Otherwise very wearable and very comfortable.

Vintage shoe sizes can vary a lot, both from modern and contemporary sizes, depending where and when they were made and design details such as the shape of the toe and height of the heel.
There are also differences in modern comparison charts depending on which country you live in. I will always quote my estimate of a modern equivalent and list the length and width in inches so you can compare them to a pair that fits you.


They are all wearable unless otherwise stated. I check that the soles and uppers are well glued, that any synthetic soles are flexible and there is a decent outlet amount of heel tip left.
If they have been re-heeled and soled I will tell you. Any faults will be noted. I usually polish/clean them where needed.
I try to date them honestly. I won't tell you they're 30s if they're 50s, etc etc.
