I create hand-drawn, pen & ink and watercolor portraits of pets that are timeless and sure to bring joy. Each portrait is distinctly personal, capturing emotions and details in my signature style.

If you're unsure what to get loved ones this year, looking for a just because gift, celebrating a life event such as birthday or holidays, or wanting a memorable piece for yourself, I'd love to illustrate for you.

DETAILS

Illustrated with pen & ink and watercolor on 100% cotton hot press paper. Paper color is a warm white.

Frame and mat not included.

HOW TO ORDER

1. Select your portrait size, number of pets, and then purchase the listing.

2. Send me your high resolution photos via email at yumiko[at]studioyuming.com right after you purchase the listing. You may send as many photos as you'd like. Please include the photo that clearly shows the face and pose. Please attach any specific requests or preferences for your custom order as well.

3. After I receive the payment, I'll start working on your portrait. I'll share with you my pencil sketch before I use pen & ink. If you need me to make minor edits, please let me know at this stage. I need a good understanding of how you'd like your custom portrait (it has to be done in my art style, however) before I start working on your order to avoid major or unnecessary edits.

4. When I finish your portrait, I'll send you a scanned copy of the final portrait for approval. You may request to add a few minor details (such as words, date) at this stage. Once you approve the final, I'll carefully pack the artwork and ship it to you via USPS priority mail.

TURNAROUND TIME

Custom portraits usually take 2-3 weeks to complete upon receiving your photos. Let me know if you need a rush order and I'll try my best to accommodate.
