Silverplate Dainty Tea Or Coffee Service ~ Late 19th Century Aesthetic Style ~ Granny Chic outlet

This dainty little set is late 19th century outlet, aesthetic style,
popular in the 1880s.

It is silverplate 23 by W.S. & Co. and at one time, graced the family
table.

The sugar & creamer are about 3" in height & the teapot, about 8",
including the top decoration.

I have recently cleaned them as they were quite tarnished, from years
of disuse. Some tarnish does remain, a charming touch, I think. There
are
a few small dents, evidence of previous use.

Quite cleverly, a tulip design has been etched into all three pieces, so
that when you pour the tea or creamer, the flower is upright !

This is a pretty silverplate tea or coffee service !
