Antique Towle Canterbury outlet 1893 Sterling Silver Pierced Tomato Server P Mono

Presented is an antique, sterling silver tomato or cucumber or flat server made by Towle during the late 1800s. This piece is in the Canterbury pattern, which was patented in 1893 and it is old, original production. The handle has a beaded edge and swirl accents at the tip. The front has a monogram of the letter P. The base of the server is pierced with designs. This piece can be used to serve any food!

The back of the handle is marked for Towle and sterling.

This piece is in great overall condition for its age and the designs are crisp.
