MADE TO ORDER Red gold floral silk scarf with hibiscus flowers hand painted in fiery red , dark gold , gray , sage colors with black and red vines . The drawing of this wrap is made with metallic gold gutta which has a light feel on silk and makes the design precious.

I chose a luxurious twill silk fabric ( 100 % natural silk ) for this classy design and shades .
Twill silk has a subtle sheen, drapes beautifully and is often picked for high end fashion accessories . #10 concerns the weight of pure silk : 10 mommes lies between light and medium weight : 44 grs per square metre. It is more expensive than Habotai flat silk which is the most commonly used fabric for silk painting.

The hem is hand rolled and sewn.

It is not a mass market produced item , each scarf is unique : I do not use stencils , I only paint and draw free hand .

Care : wash in lukewarm water with a little mild detergent . Do not soak , do not wring , roll into a towel to absorb excess water and iron at a outlet low temperature when the silk is still slightly wet .

This lovely scarf comes with a hand made wrap with the name of the painting " Hibiscus " , the writing " hand painted pure silk " and my signature , all hand written with metallic gold gutta .
