Tommy the Tenor was hand carved by me in a sycamore tree branch found in the North Georgia mountains, He's 12 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide.

“Tommy the Tenor” is one of my hand carved, one of a kind creations that take many hours to complete.
I use a variety of tools to create them, I use a Dremel and an Oz Plus rotary tool and various bits some as small as a dentist drill. I also use traditional hand tools, chisels, gouges and knives as well as a variety of Xacto blade knives. I even use a box cutter! LOTS of sand paper and even nail files (believe it or not) to sand into all the tiny spaces. "Tommy the Tenor” is sealed with a non-yellowing, satin acrylic finish. There is a hole drilled in the rear for hanging on a wall and I have signed him on the back as well.
