Vintage from the 1970s
Handmade, so there is no known fabric content. Floral portion feels like a poly-cotton blend, the bodice seems to be a brushed synthetic.
This dress is so stunning and perfect for fall.
Gorgeous floral cotton, paired with a deep raspberry-mauve bodice made from a soft brushed fabric (which has a velvet or suede appearance).
Velvet ribbons throughout the skirt
Snap front closure, with a side opening for extra room when dressing.
It was difficult to capture the color of both fabrics accurately, but I have included a closeup that is closest to outlet the true colors (_ photo)
Disclaimer: I stuffed the sleeves slightly in the first 2 photos only in order to best capture how this will look when worn.
Excellent vintage condition! The only flaw found was a small portion of the lowest velvet ribbon seems to have been partially melted with the iron (see last photo). With the deep navy color of the ribbon, this is not noticeable. There are also slight signs of wear on the fabric in general (fuzziness) - this is also highlighted in the photos.
