The Cap is in excellent condition Highlighted with "BLACKBIRD" at the top and a gold plated "ball-end" Clip in place very securely...the Clip is in nice condition & it shines up beautifully and has the blackbird icon etching.

...there are no cracks or breaks......The Cap tightens and posts nice and securely to the barrel as it should.

The Gold plated Filler Lever works well and is again, in excellent condition...no wear showing to the plating.

The model no, 5276 is etched and highlighted at the base.

The pen has been fully- serviced, re-sac'd and finally given a light polish.....filled for a writing test and flushed clean... It is in perfect working condition.
Overall, a very collectable and usable example of a "Mabie Todd" Fountain Pen...with a very nice authentic gold Nib.
Showing only light wear commensurate with careful usage considering it's great age.

Pen size is 13 cm capped and 15.9 cm posted.
