Fly Fishing Primitive Handmade Wood Lure Tool

Primitive handmade wood winder tool for making
fly fishing lures. Complete with horse hair and feathers.
This piece was found under a very old newspaper, stored
away in an incredibly beautiful wood box. The newspaper
is "The Westmorland Gazette" and "Kendal Advertiser".
The box will be listed separately in the shop. It has the
initials "T S" brass riveted to the top. We are currently
researching the owner of the box and hopefully will be
adding more info to this outlet listing soon. The newspaper is
dated December 4, 1841.

Wood winder measures; 3.25" by 1".

What you see in the photo, wood winder, horse hair and
feathers are all in good condition. The box will be sold
separately with the old newspaper.

A wonderful piece of English history.
