Vintage 1976 LeeWards Crewel Embroidery Kit "Sunflower and outlet Daisy Floral"

Vintage 1976 crewel kit from LeeWards titled "Sunflower and Daisy Floral." Kit #35-67963. Finished (24"x18") canvas can be framed, used as wall hanging, or sewn into pillow (to name a few possibilities). Embroidery stitches used in this kit: Stem Stitch, Straight Stitch, French Knots, Split Stitch, Laid Work (5 total). Twenty (20) different colors of yarn. Difficulty score: 9/10 (with 1 being easiest and 10 being most difficult).

OLD STOCK IN NEW PACKAGE
I have accumulated over 300 vintage crewel kits and most kits are not ready to sell as is (they may torn, odorous, missing items, sticky, etc.). I open and repackage each vintage kit to make sure:
1. that the kit is complete (instructions, canvas, yarn, etc.),
2. that the canvas and/or yarn do not outlet have an unpleasant odor or damage,
3. that all yarn colors are accounted for, and
4. that I can provide buyers with a list of embroidery stitches needed to complete the design.

PRICING AND DIFFICULTY SCORE
I price kits based on the size of the canvas and the amount of yarn (materials). I provide a "difficulty" score for each kit based on the number and type of stitches, and the amount and number of yarn colors. Scores range from one (easiest) to ten (most difficult).

NOTE: The paper instructions for multiple kits may not be in the same condition as what is pictured (differences in wear and tear). I will tape instructions if the paper is badly torn. While I can make sure that all colors are accounted for, I can not guarantee the amount of yarn per color -- shortages, if any, will be up to the buyer to secure. Finally, I remove all sewing needles from the kits as a few of the needles have become rusty after ~50 years. IF the rusty spot will not be covered by the yarn design, I will state so in the above description.
